Yesterday, my mom (Ann) had surgery to remove hernia as well as a tumor on her liver. The hernia has been bothering her for the past two years and when last checked, doctors also found a tumor on her liver. The past month or so has been a bit flustered as the family prepared emotionally for the process of surgery, which is never something you look forward to.

The good news is that the tumor was benign. No cancer! The hernia has also been removed. She is recovering now in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and should be back home in a few days.
